Hyosung D-1500 error code: Causes and Solutions

A Hyosung D-1500 error is a common communications error.  As the ATM tries to connect to the processing network, the ATM machines cannot make the connection.  In this article, we will explore what a D-1500 error is and how to troubleshoot and solve the error.

When you receive the D1500 error, it means the attempted connection has timed out and failed. Some basic troubleshooting would consist of:

1. Check the internet connection.  Is it plugged in?  Does it have access to open internet?

2. Is the CAT5 cable between the ATM and the internet router in good condition?

3. Does the wireless box have power to it?

4. The Internet router has assigned the ATM a new IP address and the ATM needs to be power cycled to pick up the new IP address.

Possible solutions:

1. Reseat the CAT5 connection to the ATM Mainboard

2. Make sure the CAT5 cable is plugged into the router

3. Make sure the wireless router is active

4. Power cycle the ATM to obtain a new IP address

5. In some rare cases, we’ve oddly seen the D-1500 come up when the master keys are not bound.

For the most part, the Hyosung D-1500 error is a communication error and should be where to start investigating the issue.  Simple things like power cycling the ATM and checking the phyical connection to the Router is the best course of action.
